Welcome to the Altius Alliance

If you want to make a difference to the lives of young people and are considering training for a career in teaching, look no further!

We are hopeful that you will have done your research and realise that Cheadle Hulme High School has a fantastic reputation academically, pastorally and within the local community. We have extremely high standards in everything we do and consequently have extremely high standards of our Associate Teachers who work alongside like-minded professionals. Everyone who is recruited by the Alliance gets the opportunity to teach at CHHS.

Cheadle Hulme High School leads a fantastic range of schools which provide complementary places for our Associate Teachers and helps prepare them to teach in any context. The mentor support provided by these schools is second to none and the training process is fully quality assured.

We are experts. As a training school for 12 years and a teaching school for a further four CHHS is very experienced in Initial Teacher Training.
